Founded in 1965, the Naples Music Club is the oldest organization in town devoted to music. Its purpose is to raise money for talented young musicians so that they continue their study and education. In the spring of each year an audition is held and the most deserving are selected. These young people then perform in public and awards are made in cash ranging from $100 to $1,000.
This mission is funded by membership fees, private gifts, and donations collected at various concerts offered in season by local and visiting outstanding instrumentalists and vocalists who perform gratis.
